  • Virgin Rickshaws Make Media Splash

    Guests at the Edinburgh Film & Television Festival were given the red rickshaw treatment in August, with a whole fleet of pedicabs in Virgin branding! 20 b-spokes rickshaws were decked in spectacular scarlet liveries to offer free rides between festival venues and hotels across the city. Delegates were provided with a special map showing rickshaw pickup points, and the service operated from morning till night. No more fighting for taxis! And door-to-door eco-friendly transfer!   • Perth: Take Your Rickshaw to Work Day

    Scottish & Southern Energy supported Perth’s ‘In Town Without My Car’ Day on 18th September with a fleet of eight b-spokes rickshaws offering free lifts to the public. Four rickshaws helped take company employees to work, and others drove shoppers around the city centre. The day was organised by Perth and Kinross Council to promote sustainable transport and mark European Mobility Week.

  • B -spokes Branches Out

    From 1st October, b-spokes has grown 30% bigger, with an expansion into new premises. The larger unit has a dedicated tools and parts store, and a new base for repairs and maintenance.

  • Rickshaw Rides for Blushing Brides!

    B-spokes has taken delivery of five new white rickshaws to meet the growing demand for bridal transport. Complete with festive wedding liveries, our rickshaws will be able to get bridal parties to the church on time, and in style!

  • Leeds: Schools Out in b-spokes Rickshaws

    GCSE students in Leeds celebrated their August exam results with a free rickshaw ride to the newly formed Leeds City College. The college wanted to promote the recent merger of Leeds College of Technology with Park Lane College, and inspire potential students to check out their new study programme.
    B-spokes set up eight rickshaws offering free rides to the college on the day exam results came out, along with two rickshaws for members of the public. College Principal Peter Roberts is shown here with rider Karl Blom in the saddle.
